The County Administrative Board in Västernorrland has purchased two X10 that have been installed at the new World Heritage Museum in Skule. They complement a pellet furnace and generate electricity for the museum.
Pictures from the installation: On this unusually steep roof, the solar concentrator
is bolted to a stainless steel rail.

The X10 was assembled in the Absolicon workshop and lifted to the rooftop. When Absolicon does larger installations the X10 are assembled locally to minimise transportation costs.

The glass encased top of the solar concentrator protects it from rain and dust. The Skule Mountain, which can be seen in the background, was almost fully submerged 10 000 years ago, pressed into the sea by the glacier that covered Scandinavia.

The building is located in front of the new museum, visible from the E4 (the main highway connecting the North and the South of Sweden) making it an excellent demonstration installation.
