Electrochemical industry order to Absolicon Solar Concentrator

Absolicon has received an order to an electro chemical industry in Stockholm. The heat and electricity from the X10 will be used to power the electroplating baths.

The industry is supplying plated boxes and antennas to the vibrant Swedish telecom industry as well as other demanding customers.

- The increasing energy cost will make more and more industries consider using solar energy to power their processes Mr. Joakim Byström, CEO of Absolicon, predicts.

The solar concentrators are placed on the roof top of the industry

The customer has received a 60% investment grant from the Swedish government. The installation will be official in May 2011 and inaugurated in June.

Industry market for Absolicon

Absolicon is also in the process to look on the energy supply of textile industries in Italy. In Italy, there are many industries looking for medium temperatures from 120 to 160 C and steam.
