Absolicon X10 PVT is being tested at ITW, the largest testing center for solar energy in Germany.

A two meter long Absolicon X10 PVT is being tested right now at the Institute for Thermodynamics and Heating Technology (ITW) in Stuttgart. The measuring started in autumn 2011 and will be completed by summer 2012.

“We are continuously working on project improvements and testing our products at this well renowned research institute. The results are important to us because we use them in our simulations in order to calculate the energy efficiency, says Joakim Byström,” Absolicon.

ITW is the largest testing center for solar energy in Germany. In addition to testing solar energy products, the institute also offers training and consulting.

“Because we believe concentrated solar collectors for both electricity and heat, will have quite a potential in the future this assignment is of particular interest for us,” says Stephan Fischer, manager for ITW.”
