Solar Energy driving chemical process
Industrial company wants to replace expensive electricity with solar power. Ten solar collectors from Absolicon are currently running a part of the company’s chemical process. The purchaser is called Bomans Lackering and has its headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden. As a subcontractor for the telecom industry, large quantities of hot water are needed for chemical baths that provide gold plating for radio cabinets. The plant is 100m 2 and is mounted on the roof of the company’s headquarters. The customer made use of the government’s solar power subsidies.
