Heat from the sun for a remote hotel
Three separate systems in Patagonia provide both heat and electricity to the remote hotels in Chile’s National Park. The purchaser is a foundation that owns the national park and which has decided to invest in solar collectors that can be upgraded as the technology develops. During the Chilean project, engineers from Absolicon were on-site to help with the initial installations. The solar energy systems mean that hikers can overnight in comfort, even when they are visiting the most remote areas of the National Park.
