A phase-change store at constant power

Energy on the horizontal axis, temperature on the vertical — the convention used for T–Q composite curves. Constant heat flow means a fixed spread across the water, so both water lines run parallel to the PCM and the whole temperature staircase moves together. Because the power never changes, the energy axis also reads as time.
